WHAT IS ANALOG 86

Analog 86 is one person's exploration of why physical, tactile things feel more meaningful than the infinite digital feed.

Records. Cassettes. Vintage tech. Finite games. Physical media you own, hold, and lose. The stuff that has a beginning and an end.

The thesis: hardware and physical constraints were a creative forcing function. Vinyl sounds the way it does because of the groove's limitations, not in spite of them. Tecmo Bowl is fun because the NES couldn't do anything else. This applies across music, film, gaming, and everyday objects.

This is not a nostalgia channel. It's not a review channel. It's a document of a life being lived deliberately, in a time designed to keep you scrolling.
